Essen Butler
Essen has been a Super Yacht Captain for 22+ years, allowing him the opportunity to sail around the world on boats from 80’ to 180’. His career not only provided him with the opportunity to travel but also allowed him to interact and strategize with some of the most successful entrepreneurs.
This led him down the path to commercial real estate investing, with a focus on Self-Storage. He began by erecting a facility with over 85 doors. Three years later, Essen acquired his second facility, and in 2022, he erected his third facility, establishing a portfolio of over 300 cash-flowing units.
In 2024, Essen and Jaclyn expanded the portfolio with the acquisition of two facilities in the panhandle of Idaho and central New Mexico. Additionally, the team ventured into portable storage, securing 24 portable units available for delivery to customer sites. The portfolio growth led to over 350 cash-flowing units.
Jaclyn Malcom
Jaclyn has been working in the Aerospace and Defense industry for over 10 years as a Systems Engineering Manager and Program Manager, supporting ICBMs and Autonomous Systems. Within these positions, she has had the opportunity to estimate, negotiate, and execute government contracts valued over $500,000,000, covering the full product life-cycle.
Before her career in Defense, she was a Data Analyst for Walt Disney World. Supporting the Revenue Management team, she analyzed hotel demand and revenue to determine the optimal approach for offering promotions while minimizing revenue dilution.
Jaclyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and currently earning a Doctorate in Business Management and Strategic Leadership.
