Once an asset has stabilized, usually between years 4-6, the debt of the asset will be refinanced to return investors their principle investment. This allows for tax advantages over selling an asset, all while investors maintain their percentage in ownership of the asset.
Our long-term investment strategy is to buy and hold an asset and allow for appreciation and equity to increase over time as debt is paid down.
